Taping equipment
Sealing, resistance to mechanical damage during use and minimising noise from loose components are important requirements for our wire harnesses. Wrapping harnesses with different types of tape is a widely used process for meeting these requirements.
We carry out this process on specialist automatic or semi-automatic taping machines from leading manufacturers.
All machines allow adjustment of rotational speed and tape pitch. They also automatically measure the length of the harness section being taped.
Harnesses can be wrapped with various types of tape, including PVC, textile and paper tapes.
